The “Big Five” – lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinoceros – are among the most sought-after animals on safari, and you’ll have the opportunity to see them in their natural habitats. The tour includes visits to renowned game reserves, such as the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, where you can witness these magnificent creatures up close in their vast, untamed environment. These game drives are designed to maximize your chances of encountering the Big Five, offering you the thrill of spotting these majestic animals in the wild while learning about their behaviors and conservation efforts.
In addition to the wildlife safari, the tour also takes you to Materuni, a picturesque village located at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. Here, you’ll experience the region’s stunning landscapes, including the stunning Materuni Waterfall. The waterfall is set amidst lush green surroundings and offers an opportunity to trek through the forest, surrounded by the beauty of nature.

Tour Plan
Upon arrival at the airport, our driver will transfer you to your accommodation in Arusha, where you'll relax and prepare for the upcoming adventures. The first day, you can opt also by having a city tour featuring local markets, Cultural Heritage Museum or even Arusha City Museum. And in the evening, you'll receive a tour briefing.

We will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 AM and drive for two hours to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its diverse landscape, ancient baobab trees, and the largest concentration of elephants in the country. You'll have unique opportunities to observe elephant interactions and spot other wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, wildebeests, and zebras, during a game drive. After enjoying lunch at a scenic picnic site overlooking the river, we will continue the game drive until 5:30 PM whereby we will exit the park and drive to Karatu for an overnight stay and dinner

After breakfast, you will drive from Karatu to Serengeti, a 4–5-hour journey that passes through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You'll stop briefly at the gate and viewpoint to admire the stunning view of the crater. Arriving in Serengeti National Park in the late afternoon, you'll embark on a game drive in the Seronera region, where you can witness the sunset and observe wildlife, possibly including predators hunting or on a kill.

After an early breakfast, we'll embark on a game drive south of Serengeti toward Seronera, then exit the park in the late afternoon. We'll drive for 2 hours to Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge, which provides views of the Ngorongoro Crater. Optionally, you can visit a Maasai village (not included in price) to learn about their culture.

After an early breakfast, we’ll drive from our lodge through the Rift Valley to the cooler Ngorongoro Highlands. The Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest volcanic caldera formed by an ancient explosion, is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including the Big Five—lions, elephants, buffalos, rhinos, and leopards. Known as one of the Natural Wonders of the World, the crater also hosts wildebeest, gazelle, reedbuck, and over 500 bird species. We’ll enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing with game viewing in the crater. In the afternoon, we'll ascend the steep, winding track back to Arusha.

This all-day trip offers an immersive experience of Tanzania's natural environment, ideal for adventurous and culturally curious travelers. Hike to the Materuni Waterfalls and enjoy a refreshing swim before exploring a nearby coffee farm to learn about Tanzania's coffee industry. After refreshments, you'll either head to the airport for departure or return to Arusha, depending on your schedule.
